TWO BEDROOM HOUSE FOR 13 CHILDREN

Hello friends, our friend who has been paying rent for 13 vulnerable children is retiring with a terminal illness and he cannot continue paying, he made this revelation on 4th August 2026 after clearing rent for August and September our rent fee has been $800. Since 4th August we have engaged several stake holders from the local council and local builders since we have 100X100 feet piece of land where we can have a simple house constructed and we came to conclusion that a two bedroom house will cost UGX52,000,000 equivalent of $ 15,000 this fee include approvals, building materials and labor costs, pit latrine ,roofing, furnishings, water and electrical  installations.

In our efforts to reach out to where we can expect help one roofing company has responded as they will roof the house and construct a pit latrine once we have a structure, we again engaged the builders about the real cost of a house without electrical and water installation and the cost is down to UGX 25,200,000 equivalent $7,000 this is without much furnishings but when the house is occupiable which is needed the approvals we have a perimeter wall fence but that's may come later what we need now is a shelter to keep the children before our rent expires.

the local contractor believes they can finish within this time flame we need UGX 9,000,000 equivalent to $2,500 to start with excavating and foundation materials then after one week we shall contribute $2,000 and on and on until we have the roofing.
